Rocker Mitch Malloy has released his new, full-length CD MAKING NOISE. This recording marks the first time Malloy has undertaken an album solely by himself from start to finish – songwriting, producing, instruments, mixing and mastering. “I have always brought in a few musicians or songwriters to work with me on projects in the past and have really enjoyed what they brought to the table. But this time, I was in a different place and really needed to work through everything musically by myself…thus, My Therapy!” said Malloy tongue-in-cheek about the first single, with video, aptly called My Therapy.
Mitch has been busy the past year not only writing and producing his own album but also writing and producing projects for clients in his studio, Malloy Master Tracks. Mitch states, “I love working with young artists and passing the torch to a new generation of rockers.” Malloy Master Tracks is a full-service production facility that serves a variety of clients from hit acts and labels like Taylor Swift, Boys Like Girls, Kenny Loggins, Johnny Gates, Craig Morgan and Sony Music NY to singer/songwriters Victoria Show, Gary Burr and Billy Falcon and even voice over work for Outdoor Channel, Field & Stream and various other brands.

Sunday Mar 04, 2018
After nearly an entire decade of searching for the ideal sound to share with the world, multi-instrumentalist Andrew Boles made the most important move of his life by relocating to Detroit to bring his music-career to the next level in 2016. Boles decided to shift away from solo-life to a five-piece band, taking on the incredible talents of 4 up and coming Detroit local musicians into the official lineup to play the songs live. Immediately discovering the depths of the bond between them – the songs Boles had written never sounded better; the high-energy melodies and dynamically transformative, wild, synth-drenched indie-pop music of No Alarms became the realized version of its intentions & ambitions.
"What's Right Is Left" is the first single from No Alarms's forthcoming EP, which was self-recorded in both Texas and Detroit, and mixed and mastered by a legend in the industry, Sefi Carmel (Phil Collins, Massive Attack). The EP conveys the struggles of getting through to friends with serious addictions, codependency, and finally, the overwhelming hope of getting through to the other side.

At the center of the most potent folk music is a shamanistic vessel that’s traveled miles in the outside world and miles within his or her emotional interior to emerge with music that instantly breaks down walls and opens hearts.
Folk singer-songwriter Eli Lev beholds the gifts of such journeys. He’s a searcher, a sage, and a storyteller with a message of unity in song. He pens hymns for everyday enlightenment—songs that resonate because they’re heartfelt, earthy, and they offer wisdom culled from self-discovery. His upcoming two-album release, All Roads East and Way Out West, imaginatively and intrepidly connect spheres and generations with a body of work that’s irresistibly uplifting, emotionally resonant, and groundbreaking.
“When I’ve been on the road, and I can’t speak the language, I’ve always been able to play a song and suddenly everyone’s singing and dancing. There’s a connection there, and, in that instant, there is a community,” marvels the Washington, D.C.-based artist.
Eli has built a robust profile through wowing audiences whenever he picks up a guitar. Select highlights from his national and international performances include appearing at Burning Man in Black Rock City, Nevada; Music on the Mall Festival in Washington DC; Kennedy Center Millennium Stage for the METRO Performs Series; and playing at the US Capitol building at the invitation of DC Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton.
Currently, he maintains a busy schedule performing on what he has playfully dubbed the “Beltway Tour,” which includes an impressive series of appearances at hundreds of venues throughout Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia in clubs, taverns, festivals, house shows, wineries, art exhibits, markets, resorts, and community events. CBS Radio News has featured an interview with Eli, and ReverbNation has spotlighted four of his songs. As a recording artist, Eli has previously issued the live-in-the-studio EP, Shy Desert Morning.
“To me, folk music represents a tradition of reinterpretation. Before people had a medium to record, they weren’t tied to one version of a song. The music could grow and evolve,” Eli says. “Together, these albums represent an artistic statement about folk music and how songs can be interpreted in many ways.”

LIGHTS AND BRIDGES is what happens when a composer of global, border-dissolving tones and beats decides to condense his symphonic visions into intimate, yet still epic slices of song, lyric and sound. It’s the evocative collision of voice and acoustic guitar stripped to its melodic essence. It’s the lush whisper of breathtaking harmony and atmosphere. It’s echoes of icons like CSN, Simon & Garfunkel, and Nick Drake. It’s a conversation with contemporaries like Bon Iver, José González, and Eliot Smith.
It’s the poetic designation that singer-songwriter Tom Rossi has taken on to imagine a new musical landscape, the kind of collection of song and texture you want to envelope yourself in at hushed dusk or midnight. Rossi’s best known for beautiful, groove laden, wordless world music records like Salma Har, featured on tastemaker programs like BBC/PRI's The World, NPR's Echoes and Talk of the Nation. So LIGHTS AND BRIDGES becomes at once an avenue for reinvention, a return to roots, and a distillation.
Rossi’s a fluent multi-instrumentalist in everything from ceremonial Ghanaian hand drums to African kora. He’s a therapeutic musician, who’s dedicated years to the art of performing for those in the most vulnerable condition of hospice care. It’s both intriguing and rewarding to hear these unusual skills and influences filter through the lens of more conventional instrumentation and song structure on instant classics like Superball (a collab with poet, Rich Ferguson) and Outside The Wall.
LIGHTS AND BRIDGES doesn’t demand attention. It’s the kind of subtle musical spell one has to lean into to truly receive. Producer Guy Erez creates immersive arrangements that magnetize via their purity and restraint. With release set for September 5th, 2017, and the song Lemonade featured in new indie cinema favorite, Gala & Godfrey, LIGHTS AND BRIDGES is already wooing the attention of creators and appreciators alike. This breathtaking four-song debut only promises many more to come.
